STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA    )
COUNTY OF PHILADELPHIA ) SS:-

MORTON HERSKOWITZ, being duly sworn, says:

I am a physician, duly admitted to practice as such and one of the applicants for leave to intervene.

I was graduated from Temple University in 1938 with the degree of Bachelor of Arts and in 1938 and in1939, I continued graduate study in Biology in that same university.

I was graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathy in 1943 with a degree of Doctor of Osteopathy. In that same year, I was licensed to practice as such in Pennsylvania.

I was at the Harbor Hospital in Brooklyn, New York on an interneship in 1943 and 1944 and I passed the medical state boards in New Jersey in 1944 when I was licensed to practice medicine in that state.

I entered full time general practice in Philadelphia in 1944 and was appointed clinical assistant in neuroosychiatry at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathy, 1946. I was appointed assistant in neuropsychiatry about three years later at the same college and instructor in psychopathology.

I was appointed associate in neuropsychiatry at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia in 1950. I started personal therapy and training in orgonomy with Dr. Wilhelm Reich about 1949 or 1950 and entered the fulltime practice of orgone therapy in 1952.

My scientific experience, training, and background convince me of the validity of the principles of orgonomy and the theraputics involved in the orgone energy accumulator; hence in the treatment of my patients, employ such principles.

Orgonomy as any other science depends for its development and practical application to every day life upon the reports of experiments conducted by scientists such as my fellow applicants and I. The injunction operates to curtail me in the practice of my profession and the development of my scientific knowledge and.ability. This right of mine to practice my profession in the best way I know how, based on science, skill and judgement has been directly hampered and curtailed by the injunction and this right of mine has not been represented in the main proceeding.

Accordingly, I respectfully join in this application and I request that I be given leave to intervene on the same grounds as are more fully set fortth. in the affidavit of Dr. Willie.
