I am a PhD. student in clinical psychology currently writing a paper on Reichian Therapy and EMDR. I am in critical need of some literature/articles/information/correspondence that relates specifically to ocular armouring and the light movement technique for dearmouring that is referenced in Baker's Man in the Trap. If you can help, please e-mail me at LLONGAN@HERSHEYS.com. I will be very grateful for any and all responses.
This is to inform Reichian patients and therapists world wide that there is a new quarterly E-zine out called THE ANIMIST. We are keen to publish theoretical articles, anecdotal experiences, etc. of people undergoing, practicing, even critical of Reichian therapy, Bioenergetics, Core energetics and other similar body work therapies.
The e-zine is not exclusively on Reich, though we are very sympathetic to the Reichian perspective on society and the 'maladies of the soul'. Our aim is to fuse Reichian insights with those of other radical psychotherapeutic systems, and also to place Reich's work within the greater perspective of Western cultural history, and, as the century draws to a close in a flurry of talk about globalisation, in relation to the world-wide problem of 'maladies of the subject' - we hold that Reich is an all important figure in any discussion of that problem. Articles on Reich's work from this sort of perspective will be much appreciated.Likewise, if therapists wish to advertise events, their practices, books etc. they are most welcome though a small fee will apply. If an article is published you will gain three months free advertising on our site and a free link to a site of your choice. Our journal will be fully functional by April 1st 1998 - until then bear with us. We will be including as part of our first issue an interesting article by Ian Irvine (PhD student La Trobe Uni, Human Relations) on Reich's idea of 'The Emotional Plague'.
Unfortuantley, at this point, we are not able to pay for articles. However, this is counterbalanced by the fact that visitors to the site can read all articles, poems, stories etc. for free.
Yours faithfully Ian Irvine of The Asphodel Centre and The Animist.

Hello,
I am a surveyor engineer 30 years old and the last 2 years I am a fan of Reich. In my first steps I ask for some help and also to be a member of you. My dreams are to make experiments and researces when I become more money- independent. For the moment I beg for some answers to peoples questions and alternative therapies like this one: Gal stones. Is there any treatment? the clasic treatment failed!
