How far "draws" your cloudbuster
?

1. Introduction

The photo was taken by Jamerling Ogg of PORE from the Internet (under http://www.orgone.org)
and use here is allowed with his friendly permission. It appears like a
weapon system, but is indeed only one bundle of two to ten iron pipes and
is called cloudbuster. They are tiltable and swivelling fastened on a type
carriage. The pipes are empty, over flexible metal (empty electrical bx
cable) hoses are attached to the iron pipes, which are then connected with
water and filled, as it were grounded. As good grounding and a flowing
water as much as possible should be favourable. In Germany on a car trailer
is a structured CB built by John Trettin with the German Orgon service
in Nuembrecht, which is not far from Cologne. (pictures of it are in the
Internet to find under http://www.orgone.de).

When reading through the life of Reich and his work in the field of
physics and of atmosphere my interest was focussed on that device called
cloudbuster. In fact, there were no really proven indications on how far
goes the direct influence of this drawing of energy. I read that.....distances
affected are variable, sometimes continental in scope, .....they can reach
several 100 kilometers ....influencing the upper levels of atmosphere but
also ....short range operations. That reminded me of an episode from my
childhood during the last World War when we aimed a found mortar at a target
many miles away and almost killed a farmer working on a nearby field. Being
an engineer I should be clear in my expressions and writings. Thus I just
want to give you some concrete information, being aware that my findings
contain uncertainties and might even be erronneous (I do not hope this
to be). So I started doing experiments myself in order to understand some
of Reich's discoveries, making use of my ability and long years experience
in dowsing. In general one should speak of "subtle information."
This could however be difficult to understand to some reader. (See also:
Reinhold Klaus "Some
ideas between dowsing and physics") (The human organism
reacts unconsciously to invisible subtile forces which he encounters, the
dowser is trained to make these reactions visible and tries to classify
these forces in a mental scheme). Mrs. Blanche Merz from Switzerland once
gave me the knowledge of the so called Bovismeter. This is not an instrument
but a mental model conceived by the French physicist Bovis about 80 years
ago. It is a dual scheme which allows to distinguish, as for the so called
life energy between positive (life enhancing) and negative (life damping)
effects. I found that Orgone corresponds to the positive component of life
energy. It appears inside the OG accumulator or is given by an OG generator,
whereas the negative component is on the outside of these devices.

---Pipe length 0.7 m---
For simulating a cloudbuster I immersed an open end 1 1/4 " iron
pipe vertically in an iron water bucket (0.28 m diameter, 0.38 m height,
vertical tube length 0.6 m). The upper end of the pipe was fixed by a 90
degrees connector to another pipe of 0.7 meter length (running horizontally).
The bucket was placed beneath the tap of a cast-iron fountain, so it came
in direct contact with this metal structure. The fountain was connected
underground to the rather high pressurized public water supply. The overflowing
water dispersed on the grass covered terrain around. The center line of
the horizontal tube was running at a height of about 1.5 m across a (somewhat
lower situated) closeby grassland. A beam of negative life energy was found
running out of the horizontal pipe following its axis across the grassland.
Pulses of energy were running at a speed of roughly 0.1 m per second until
a distance of about 26 m when the water in the bucket was stagnant. A field
of positive life energy (Orgon) was established around the bucket and extended
to a distance of 8 m. When the water smoothly poured in and overflowed
the bucket without much turbulence, the beam extended to a distance of
nearly 50 m, and the positive (Orgone) field around the bucket rose to
14 m. Then the tap was fully opended which caused a turbulent airwater
mixing in the bucket and a wild overflow. Alternating positive and negative
energy waves were emanating in concentric circles from the bucket unto
about 30 m of distance. Pulses of negative energy were shooting along the
axis of the beam at a speed of more then 1 m per second to which I could
not follow. The beam itself extended up to 100 meter within a couple of
minutes.
---Pipe length 3.65 m---
I repeated the experiment a few days later using another horizontal
pipe having a length of 3.65 meter. (It was necessary to wait because the
primary energy (life-force) had induced secondary forces on ground which
decayed rather slowly). The following data were now observed : -when the
water in the bucket was stagnant, the beam length (negative life force)
was about 52 m, the positive field around the bucket was 16 m. -with maximum
water flow (turbulent water/air in the bucket) the beam lenght (negative)
was almost 200 m. The field (positive/negative) around the bucket could
not be followed because extending onto private ground.
---Observations and comments---
The following obersvations and comments should be mentioned. -The energy
which was running in pulses along the axis of the horizontal pipe dissipated
gradually to the sides, thus its concentration and its speed along the
centerline diminuished continuously. Only a limited amount arrived at the
end of the beam. You can imagine the whole structure of flow-lines as being
a tree with branches. Thus a zone (or volume) of almost 200 m in length
and of about ten meters around the center line was filled up with negative
life energy. -The fine-structure of flow was found to be still more complex,
it is too difficult to explain all this on a few lines. -The length of
the (negative) beam was about 3 times the radius of the (positive or positive/negative)
field around the bucket. -The length of the beams seemed as being not linearly
related to the length of the pipes, it could be a square root or an exponentially
decreasing function (ratio of beam lengths 52/26 or 200/100 = 2, ratio
of pipe lengths 3.87/0.92 = 4.2) -Shooting of negative life energy, as
it was found here, could match Reich's concept of drawing positive (Orgone).
---Conclusion---
By extrapolation from my experiment with a one pipe system, applying
the before mentioned relation, on can estimate the "drawing"
beam length of a CB using 10 pipes of 6 m in length. This allows to conclude
that a distance of 1 km would not be exceeded, if ever reached (unless
there are other influencing factors which I ignore).
---Do you believe this---
You don't believe in the before predicted value which limits the potential
drawing distance of a 10 pipes CB to not more than 1 kilometer ? You are
right to be sceptical, but verify this by yourself ! Look for an experienced
dowser who can find water and who also knows positive/negative geomantic
reaction lines and energy leading lines as well. But be aware, he will
suffer from dowsing negative life energy, so limit work to a minimum of
time. This work is dangerous ! Don't get other people in touch with that
energy ! And do not verify the presence of that (negative) energy just
at a target far away without following the flow of energy from your CB.
There could be other reactions which cause that energy is present at your
target without coming directly from your CB. You must follow the flow always
starting at your CB and run to the end of the beam !
P.S.
P.S. Those described attempts were made at the edge of a leisure area of
the main vacation time in August 97, when terminated and therefore no humans
were seen in the whole area where the all activities were done. It was
logistically seen, as a singular opportunity, which had made oppurtunity
of itself to me, which was not to be found in the following weeks after
resumption of the local activities. So it had only the two attempts, and
some questions, which had arisen, and remain at present unanswered. This
applies also to one ev. over consciousness created effect over larger distances.
The otherwise described attempts at Orgongeneratoren, for which the expansion
of the back garden was sufficient, were repeated in the course of the later
months and more more frequent use that were modified, led to further understanding
and to revisions of the report across "Radiaesthetic
measurements of Orgongeneratoren". The opinion that the observer
was obviously in the role of an operator mentally also in the production
of the Orgonstrahlung involved, expressed therein by me, might be able
to apply in still stronger measure to the CB. This statement, to which
CB referred, is however an assumption, of which I had not yet followed
in the first two attempts at a simulated CB above. Indeed the serious psychological
strain should be mentioned and do occur while handling this device, and
could possibly lead to health consequences. I have read in literature of
heart complaints and likewise over paralysis health effects that have happened
to operators during Reich's and his associates operations in the 1950s.
Decisive might m.E. be, whether someone possesses sufficient firmness to
end in order to control and not risk the procedures, in fear conditions
as it from Goethe's in the poem about the magician's apprentice. So also
the statement of an experienced Orgone Operator can become understandable,
They wrote: "conditions for CB work are such that one should work
for many years with the work of Reich's and after finishing therapy, as
well as knowledge of meteorology and practical, work of many years to Reichian
working groups".

from a hollow block against tilting. The tap is opened half way and results
in a moderately strong jet. Laterally right the green wall of an indoor
tennis court is to be seen, which was not used during the attempts.

attached you find two scales of what is called the Bovismeter. The lenth
